Saskatoon

I woke up early in the night with a massive cramp in my leg like i never had before. I hope that dosen´t come on an regularly basis!
Got up at 7 am, packed my Bag, after breaking my "1 Week" rule for the first time by one night (but only because i had a save ride).
I then met up with my in Flin Flon. I was going with two Scientist who where working on a project to recreate Plantation on mining ground in Flin Flon, Gord and Sheryl. They where very friendly and took me down to where i had to go anyway.
It was a beautiful day which started in Flin Flon at -6 and ended in Saskatoon with +15. Finally warm and no snow ;) I then made my way to the apartment of my hosts. It turned out they where not there. But i didnt call up in front so it was kind of my fault.
But there was WIFI in the garden so time got not wasted ;)
Now the odd part of the day started. I won´t expose their names although I have a feeling I should warn other couchsurfers.
I was supposed to stay with an engaged couple in their early 30s. After 1 hr. of waiting She arrived. I was warned by her up in front that it might not be clean. I had my troubled times as well so i can take some. She comes up to me but only says "Hi" from a distance, dosen´t give me a Hand (small thing but adds to the bigger picture). After a couple of seconds I realize She won´t make eye contact with me at all.
I don´t want to praise myself, but this is my profession, to see if something is wrong with people. And in this case something was not right. There was no focus on the counterpart and therefor no conversation possible. It was hopping from one topic to another while doing the same in the house. It was enormously tiring. After maybe 30 exhausting minutes She left me with the expectation of here, in no time arriving, Fiance. So I took place with the feeling it could only become better now. After a short time he arrived. As he had finished his toilette session, he entered the kitchen, presses a short "ah" with his tongue and opens the fridge in a search for food.
So I got up offered him my Hand to say hello. He then sits with me at the Table for 2 min. swearing about something i can´t understand. Then he disappears... (he went sleeping on the floor in the living room)
I finish my email. Then I think for 2 min. grab my Notebook, pack my bag, leave a short notice at the door and walk away. These people looked very unhealthy and nothing like their profile pictures, they acted very strange and from my profession I would recommend them consulting a Psychiatrist and it was a very unhygienic apartment.

Good i had some Backup hosts here. So I met up with some funky young girls from China and
Hong Kong who cooked me my first and definitely last lettuce Soup ;)

Btw Saskatoon looks really nice!
