Location: Obama, Japan
-----------------------------

Well now I am on the road since 6 month, and speaking in distance I have travelled the world! Over 40.000 Km, and I still feel I have not even started! As a mater of fact, thinking of returning to an ordinary life, and staying somewhere for more than a moth seems impossible at the moment! There is so much much to see and so much to miss in this world. I am just mad at my self that I did not start earlier! Anyway, I left Tokyo, with the ambition to Hitchhike. But as it is, it was raining, and I could not find as proper spot, since the Japanese like to built small and tight. I ended up walking 20 Km throu first ghout Tokyo. And when I finaly found a good spot, night came over me. At first I made my self comfortable in a Entrance of an Apartment complex. I was almost fainting out, when I got woken up again and send away :) Found my self a bridge between the Highways, where I could set my tent for a couple of hrs. Next morning my muscles where very sore, but I catched a ride, untill Gotenba which is close to Mt. Fuji where I wanted to go. Got a another one. with the top 4 Ice-Speed-Skater of Japan (haha) who brought me to the base of Fuji. I crossed the Gate to teh National park, and since I was by foot I didnt had to pay. Made my way around the corner and started to Hitchhike. And guess what, I got picked up by and elderly and retired couple HAHA, well I did them all! I arrived half the way up on Mt. Fuji, at the 5th Station wich is 2300 m. It was already 4 pm, and the Info said 6 Hrs climed. Since I was still evry tired there was no way I wanted and could make it today. So I set my self in the woods. It was the most quiet place I had ever camped! There was no noise at all. The next morning I was ready to climb. I got myself a Country Noodle soup for breakfast and off I went. I had 200 ml water, 3 apples and 100 g peanuts. I started energetic, overtaking everyone in my path, untill i reached the end of the first 3rd. At that point my water was almost gone, and I was thirsty as fuck. I realised that I had totaly understimated that rock. To my luck, when I reached the half way, I met a Japan climber who was on his way down. He looked at my empty bottle and realised he had to help that newb :) He gave me a fresh full bottle two High carb peanut bars, and some 02 Tablets which I was supposed to take on top :) Now well equipped i reached the top after 4.5 Hrs with a beak every 2 min. It was just totaly beautyfull up there. On the top I met a another german guy from Munich who provided me with more food and drinks. The way down was very fast, but my muscles still hurt from that descent, even after 4 days! I went to Bed early this evening, but still had a nice campfire. I liked camping at the Mountain. No noise, no bugs, no ants and no people and a lot of good firewood :) I took not long and I found a good spot a little down the Hill. A few cars passed me in the morning sun. Then a guy by foot passed me. We talked quickly and he was from france, just comming down from Fuji, walking to his car. Jean-Yeves, trainer of the Franc Kajak National Team, was going to Nagoya, and happy to bring me along. We had a quick and nice ride. But I did not plan to come no Nagoya and had to place to stay. Long story very short, I slept the night under the rooftop of a bar entrance. It was comfortable but I got woken by the Police at 6:30 :) After a little breakfast I headed to Trainstation since there was now way I would continoue the walking from Tokio. I catched a Train for 2000yen to Tsrugu at the west coast! The day before I wrote a request to a guy living a few towns down the coast. I was lucky and he replied and was even happy to host me the same day! So I had to Hitchhike there. Bu it was still raining. But as it is I am just Lucky!!! A guy stops, speaks almost no english, he drives me 45 km to "Obama" and then all the way back. Thats Japanese Style! He only tells me while we are on the way, and I feel very bad! Since I have nothing to give him, I tipp him 500 yen. I get picked up in Obama by my host, and he has the perfect house like a Japanese dream! I will post pics later. Had such a great time here in Obama.... It was just the ebst decission to leave Nagoya. I realised that I have seen enough City´s on my way. In the end they are all the same, and there is nothing to special. And I loved the few days out here in the nature more than any other city before. Its so beautyful in Japan, cant wait to see the rest of the coast!
