Wow!! I actually intended to only stay one night in Ottawa, but my very lovely host Terri, convinced me to stay until Friday where she would also offer me a ride to Toronto for free!
And this was one of the better choices of my life. Yesterday i was going out with her friend Mathieu who really knows the night life of Ottawa and is also a great guy. We where out and drinking some nice beer until oblivion ;) I eventually had to sleep over at his place because it was to late to come "home". Today i met with another friend of Terri who is working very high up in the government of Canada. He gave me a full "VIP" tour throughout the Canadian Parliament which was absolutely awesome and not many people will have the chance to do so. Afterwards i got invited to join him and two of his Parliament friends in a nearby Pub, which only extended the axis of awesomeness. Those three together where so funny, we actually laughed for 4 hours constantly.
We emptied about 6 to 7 pinches of beer and when darkness came about the city i made my way "home". I just arrived, and Terri her Nephew and me where already on our way to the next Pub to catch the next drink. Now home and ready for bed i can summarize, Ottawa is very nice.
Of course you have to met the right people ;) But Terri as host was really great, and i can say: Destiny has again, taken care of me very well!!
